Driving south from State Highway 1
Drive to the end of the motorway and through the Terrace Tunnel. Follow the signs to the airport and go through Mt Victoria Tunnel. Turn right at the second set of lights after the tunnel onto Evans Bay Parade, which leads directly to the business areas concentrated around Kemp Street, Tacy Street, Rongotai Road, Coutts Street and Bay Road. Drive out of the airport complex and straight over the first roundabout, keeping to the left lane. Take the first exit on the second roundabout, sign posted for Kilbirnie. Keeping to the left, take the first exit on the third roundabout. Follow this road and you arrive at Rongotai Road and Bay Road intersection of Kilbirnie shopping
