AGM recap: highlights from the year
It’s been a productive year, and we shared some important updates at the AGM about our work for the community.
Here are some highlights:
Advocacy for KRL area. We’ve been actively advocating for Kilbirnie, Rongotai, and Lyall Bay, from challenging paid parking proposals to ensuring local businesses have a voice in the District and Long-Term Plans.
New murals. The new mural at Lyall Bay Junction is already brightening the area, with another one coming soon to Ākau Tangi Sports Centre, adding vibrant, fresh energy to the community.
Networking events. Our regular networking events have brought local business owners together, creating opportunities for collaboration and idea sharing.
Social media reach. This year’s social media campaigns reached over 43,000 people, highlighting the fantastic businesses and experiences in the KRL area.
Ongoing engagement. We’ve stayed connected with hundreds of businesses through visits, surveys, and newsletters, ensuring your thoughts and concerns are heard.
Our focus remains on making Kilbirnie, Rongotai, and Lyall Bay great places to live, work, and enjoy. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
