PAK'nSAVE Kilbirnie originally opened in October 1999 and has been proudly owned and operated by Dean Galt since 2010. Dean grew up in the supermarket industry working with his parents Brian and Ngaire who owned and operated a Four Square, New World Miramar and Kilbirnie and PAK'nSAVE Kilbirnie.

Dean has lived in the Eastern Suburbs for most of his life and lives locally with his wife and their three boys. The store is a keen supporter of the local community and particularly local sport through its Eastern Suburbs Sports Trust.
